Canadian Certified Counsellor

Life is beautiful and unique, and it can sometimes have its challenges. It is a journey, and as one of my favourite authors, Brene Brown, would say, "The middle is messy, but it is also where the magic happens." I work from a person-centered perspective where you are the expert in your own life, and my goal is to walk alongside your journey as you navigate your path by building a trusting therapeutic relationship and holding a space for you. I do believe that strength and resilience live within each of us. Because of this, I work alongside my clients as they discover and utilize their strengths and work towards the change they want to see. I focus on care, empathy, and acceptance to help my clients feel safe, secure and seen throughout our time together toward healing and change. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, finding purpose, or self-esteem, therapy is a journey done together through a holistic, empathic, and trusting approach where you feel valued.

Hello there, My name is Mary, and I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor. I graduated with a Master's in Counselling from City University of Seattle. Before transitioning into counselling, I worked in the non-profit sector, serving vulnerable and diverse populations and the school board districts, where I worked closely with children, teens, and families. Through my years of experience through different avenues, I worked on an array of mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, social skills, emotion regulation, behavioural, parenting and educational concerns. My previous experience led me to where I am today. I primarily work with children, adolescents, families, and adults in my practice, and I am passionate about what I do and enjoy the population I work with.
