Marie-Chantale Couture
Canadian Certified Counsellor
You don’t have to be in crisis to want things to feel different.
Maybe you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, uncertain about what comes next, a little disconnected from the life around you, or simply not quite like yourself lately.
My approach to counselling is warm, practical, and conversational. I’ll take the time to understand what you’re experiencing, while helping you make sense of it and find a way forward. Together, we’ll make connections, recognize patterns, explore different perspectives, and identify practical steps that feel right for you.
I work with adults and couples experiencing anxiety, relationship and communication difficulties, life transitions, grief, stress, self-esteem concerns, and times when life simply feels harder to navigate. I also have a particular interest and additional training in supporting women through perimenopause, menopause, and the emotional and relational changes that can accompany this stage of life.
My approach is strength-based and solution-focused, drawing from CBT, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and other evidence-based practices tailored to you. I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, and I offer counselling in both English and French.
I believe there is tremendous value in having a place to slow things down, understand yourself more clearly, and reconnect with what matters to you. My hope is that you leave our conversations not only feeling heard, but with new insight and something meaningful you can take into your life.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out. We can start wherever you are.
